Robert Knuckles II, PGA
Head Golf Professional

Robert was born and raised in Anderson, Indiana and moved to Fishers in 1993. He turned professional in 1991 and became a member of the PGA of America in 1997. He started his career as an assistant at The Links Golf Club and his career achievements include assistant positions at Kokomo CC, Old Oakland CC and Eagle Creek GC. In 1999 he became the Head Professional at Thatcher Golf Course and in 2000 he founded and was the first Program Director of the Indianapolis Junior Golf Foundation. Later that same year he was named the Head Coach of Butler University Women's Golf Team. After 3 successful seasons, he became the Head Professional at Deer Creek GC and in 2004 he accepted the Head Professional position at Dick's Sporting Goods in Noblesville. Before he came here to GCI, he spent 2 seasons at The Sagamore Club, a Jack Nicklaus Signature design facility in Noblesville.

His professional playing career includes 2 win's and 3 runner-up finishes. He has multiple top 5 and top 10 finishes, and in 2015 was ranked in the top 10 in the points race among Indiana PGA Members. He has consistently been ranked in the top 20 for the past 15 years.

He currently resides in Fishers with his lovely wife of 19 years, Kathryn and his 2 girls; Rachel (15) and Megan (14). His son Ryan (24).

Carolee Vannatta
Food and Beverage Director


Carolee has brought her hobby and passion of cooking and catering to the Golf Club of Indiana. Born and raised on the north side of Indianapolis, Carolee earned a bachelor of science degree at Ball State University. After school she returned to Zionsville and has lived in the area for 20 years. Carolee has three children. If you are looking to include any type of meal period or beverage package with your event, Carolee will help you to make it special.

Scott Rosselle
1st Assistant Golf Professional

Originally from Miami, FL, Scott began his career in golf in 2011 at Walt Disney World Golf and Nike Golf. He then moved to a highly rated private facility in Florida, Bella Collina. Scott not only has a background at well known facilities, but he has also volunteered his time at The Mike Bender Academy, been involved in multiple charity golf events and has experience in managing and volunteering at youth golf events. Scott happily joined the GCI team in 2016. He is continuing his journey through the PGA Program and looks forward to the opportunity of becoming a PGA Member in the future.

Kyle Kidd
Assistant Golf Professional


Kyle is originally from Clare, Michigan. He studied at the Golf Academy of America in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and graduated with honors in the Winter of 2011. After graduation, he returned to Michigan and worked as an Assistant Golf Professional at Bucks Run Golf Club where his team received the 2014 PGA Merchandiser of The Year Award.  He then moved to Naples, Florida where he was an Assistant Golf Professional at The Quarry. He is currently a level two PGA associate and has been on staff at GCI since the spring of 2018. Kyle lives in Avon with his wife and 2 dogs.

Heather Lester, LPGA
Merchandising/Golf Pro-Formance Academy Director

Heather joins the GCI team after spending the last 12 years as the merchandising manager and Assistant Golf Professional at The Sagamore Club in Noblesville, IN.  Originally from Deleware, OH, she graduated from Trine University with a bachelor's degree in Golf Management and an associates degree in Agronomy.  She has been a Class A Member of the LPGA since 2010.  Heather lives in Noblesville, IN with her husband and 3 children.
